UX/ UI Designer
Hi, I’m Sam. I’m a French-Teacher-turned-UX Designer. As a linguist and an aspiring polyglot, I have a remarkable sense of empathy. There is so much culture in a person’s language. Being able to speak it is like walking a mile in their shoes. With my training as a teacher, I’ve also presented to and persuaded the world’s toughest stakeholders – not just the teens, but their parents too! I’ve been applying the design process ever since I started teaching. While collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, I’ve designed content, evaluations, and rubrics for over a hundred teachers in my district. I’ve carried over these experiences now into my UX career; whether it’s empathizing during user interviews, iterating on wireframes and prototypes, or presenting my findings with project stakeholders. Now, I am looking forward to working with an employer who values life-long learning and innovative solutions focused on Human-Centered Design.
